In response to the increase in fallow farmland resulting from the aging of the farming population, our company established Isshi Agri System LLC, an agricultural production corporation, in 2008, and has since been working to revitalize local farmland in collaboration with the local community. Today, we cultivate Kyoto vegetables and paddy rice on approximately 3.3 hectares of farmland, promoting agriculture that makes the most of Kameoka’s rich soil and favorable climate. Furthermore, we are actively working on IT-based agriculture, including the introduction of autonomous brush cutters. In addition, in cooperation with Kyoto University of Advanced Science, Kyoto University, Kyoto Prefecture, and Kameoka City, we are conducting research and development of local specialty products, with the aim of promoting the “Grown in Kameoka” brand and revitalizing the local community.

Cooperation with high school and technical college internships.
Young people who aspire to become craftspeople experience the field at ISSI corporation.

We regularly accept internship students. Interns learn about manufacturing and processing technologies and how to operate CAD systems to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing.
