In 2008, we established Isshi Agrisystem LLC, an agricultural production corporation, to contribute to the revitalization of the local community by reutilizing fallow and abandoned rice paddies that cannot be cultivated due to the aging of the farmers and lack of successors. The company has one full-time employee and five employees on loan from the Company, and with the cooperation of employees who are local and have farming experience, the company is cultivating the farmland and recruiting part-time workers from the local community to harvest the crops during the busy farming season. As of January 2025, we are growing kyoyasai (Kyoto vegetables) and paddy rice on a 3.3 ha plot.
