Capital Inscription Stone (Beni-kamo-ishi)

Beni-kamo-ishi, Kurama-ishi, Shikiho-ishi, Hachise-makkuro-ishi, Hata-ishi, Itokake-ishi and Fuguro-ishi, are inscription stones known as the "7 Kamo stone capital inscription stones". Presently there are almost none being produced, but in the past they were quarried in the upper reaches of the Kamo and Takano rivers that flow through the center of Kyoto.

We were able to find a rare turtle-shaped "benika-ishi" stone from among these 7 Kamo stones, which is considered a good omen.
In line with the ancient saying, "cranes live for 1000 years, turtles live for 10,000 years", we placed these rocks here with the hope of lasting prosperity for our partners, and for the prosperity of our company to coincide with that of the Kameoka region.

In front of the turtle stone is a basin made from Tanba-kasugabe-ishi, which was made in the upper reaches of the Inukai river and the Kasugabe district of Kameoka city. This is also a precious stone that is rarely produced today.
Only a few were produced, but these inscription stones are of such a level as to have also been placed in Seiryū-en garden in Kyoto's Nijo castle.
